Hardware & Infrastructure Engineer

The Hardware & Infrastructure Engineer will support and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure stability, reduce operational risks, and improve failover readiness across server, network, and virtualization platforms.

Compensation: A salary that is commensurate with market and experience of the right candidate.

­Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise server hardware and Hyper-V virtualization environment.
• Support storage systems and monitor performance and capacity.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches and firewall infrastructure.
• Maintain Domain Controller and critical application environments.
• Validate NIC drivers, firmware updates, and hardware compatibility.
• Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify risks.
• Assist with IT infrastructure refresh, upgrades, and architecture optimization.
  
  

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication / Computer Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university.
• Relevant technical certifications will be preferred, such as:
• Cisco Systems certifications (CCNA / CCNP)
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA / Windows Server / Hyper-V related)
• Certification in virtualization or enterprise infrastructure management will be an added advantage
  
  

Experience

3–4 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise server infrastructure, storage, Cisco switches, and Cisco firewall environments.

Core Skills

• Windows Server administration and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Cisco networking (switches and firewall).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across server, storage, and networking layers.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, and enterprise infrastructure best practices.
