JOB DESCRIPTION: The Cameron University’s Men’s Basketball Program, an NCAA Division II member of the Lone Star Conference, is seeking a Graduate Assistant Coach starting August 1, 2026.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Assist the head coach and coaching staff in daily operations of program, on-court coaching, recruiting, fundraising, community involvement, and monitoring the academic progress of the student athletes. All responsibilities will be assigned by the head coach including adherence to all rules and regulations of Cameron University, the Lone Star Conference, and the NCAA. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and a willingness to learn the entire operations of running a college men’s basketball program. Candidate must have a strong desire to enter the coaching field as a career after obtaining a Master’s Degree.
Compensation
This position includes tuition up to nine semester hours for four semesters, apartment-style housing, and a monthly stipend.
