Kansas Athletics operates the varsity intercollegiate athletic programs (18 men's and women's intercollegiate teams) of the University of Kansas in facilities owned by the State of Kansas. Duties and Responsibilities
- Design high-quality graphics for digital, social, and print platforms.
- Create engaging visual content that aligns with brand identity.
- Capture and produce photo and video content for various platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to bring creative concepts to life.
- Edit and deliver content on tight deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Photoshop and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of videography, including shooting and editing
- Experience with Sony camera systems (preferred)
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Solid understanding of composition, lighting, and storytelling
- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to turn around high-quality graphics quickly under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends in support of events and deadlines
- Experience in an athletics environment
- Motion graphics or animation experience
- Social media content strategy knowledge
