- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Proven experience in teaching, coaching, and the ability to demonstrate proper techniques unique to the sport
- CPR and First Aid or a willingness to become certified within three months of hire
- Have knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of cultural differences and the diversity within the campus and community.
- Collegiate or professional playing experience in the sport
- Experience in recruiting college-level varsity athletes
