Junior Architectural Designer

NCA Studio is a woman-owned, award-winning architecture firm based in the Arts District of Los Angeles and we are looking for a Junior Designer (2-3 years of experience) to join our team. We are a small team of designers and problem solvers who design and manage a diverse range of projects from restaurant, commercial offices, and community centers to luxury residential.

We are seeking a full-time, in office Architectural staff who possess excellent design, computer, communication, and organizational skills to work on a diverse range of projects in all stages of development. We are passionate about what we do and are looking for an individual who shares our interest in producing quality work. Candidates should be design-sensitive, flexible, collaborative, and focused on high quality project execution. 

Required qualities, skills, and qualifications:

·        A professional architecture degree

·        2-3 years of experience, including Construction Documents production

·        A basic understanding of zoning and building codes.

·        Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in design teams.

·        Experience in restaurant design and construction is a plus.

·        Excellent digital drafting, modeling, and design presentation skills.

·        Proficient in English, both in verbal and written word.

·        Only persons currently residing in and able to legally work in the US will be considered. No international applicants for this position please.

We develop our work in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and MS Office. Experience with these programs is required.
