This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). This temporary position is located in Salisbury, NC - Rowan County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $26.25 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services. This position is located at 160 Circle M Drive., Salisbury, NC 28147.
The Food Distribution Division contributes to the nutritional well-being of the citizens of North Carolina by distributing USDA Foods to eligible recipient's agencies. Food Distribution administers six food programs for USDA.

- Must possess a valid North Carolina Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Prior use/infrequent use of manual and/or electric pallet jack.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must have good customer service skills and experience.
