Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with specific expertise in RV systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various components of recreational vehicles. The RV Technician will work closely with customers to ensure their vehicles are safe, functional, and ready for their adventures.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on RVs, including mechanical, electrical, roof/exterior, appliances, plumbing systems, and more.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, a/c maintenance, etc.
- Repair or replace components related to automotive electrical systems, HVAC systems, and diesel engines.
- Have experience replacing rotten floors and slide rooms.
- Readjust slide rooms and replace seals as needed.
- Solder connections for electrical repairs as needed.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding repairs, maintenance services, and parts sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in RV technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in the RV industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to align and suspend vehicle systems effectively.
- Proficient in soldering techniques for electrical repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A valid driver's license is required and dependable transportation required.
