Description Of Work
We’re hiring a Performance and Learning Technology Administrator (Staff Development Specialist II) that will be a key member of the HR Information System’s section. This position is assigned to the Performance & Organizational Development Section within the Human Resources Division. As an NCVIP Administrator, this position will work closely with internal HR staff in training, employee relations, and with stakeholders that manages all aspects of employee performance. This position advises on policy, identifies opportunities to increase employee engagement using the performance management process. This role demands a high level of commitment to customer service, technical expertise, and a strong foundation in both performance management and eLearning methodologies.

- Support employees through all stages of the performance management cycle, ensuring clarity and consistency in process execution.
- Collaborate with regional trainers to implement performance management procedures across divisions.
- Lead a cross-divisional Performance Management Core Team to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
- Manage goal and task entry for high-volume job classifications, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide system support, troubleshooting, and reporting for the Cornerstone on Demand platform.
- Administer NCVIP system functions including group management, dynamic goal assignment, and performance record security.
- Design and deliver custom NCVIP reports to meet evolving management and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain external training programs for statewide system users, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
- Serve as LMS Administrator, overseeing eLearning content and providing expertise in learning technologies.
