What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soccer Field Operations Assistant (Club Grounds Crew) position at NBT Soccer?
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive Field Operations Assistant to support the preparation, maintenance, and overall operations of our club’s playing environment. This role is essential in ensuring our fields, equipment, and day-to-day logistics run smoothly for practices, games, and events.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible schedule, approximately 15-20 hours per week
- $20–$25/hr depending on experience
- Club truck provided for work-related duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Turf Tank to paint field lines
- Assist with full field setup, including goals, nets, flags, cones, and other equipment
- Prepare fields prior to games to ensure a game-ready appearance
- Perform basic turf care
- Inspect, maintain, and repair goals, nets, and other field equipment as needed
- Assist with general club operations and day-to-day support tasks as needed
- Maintain organization of storage areas, equipment rooms, and inventory
- Assist with transporting materials between fields, storage areas, and event locations
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
