Loan Operations Specialist

Summary/Objective

The Loan Operations Specialist I supports the administration and servicing of commercial, consumer, and real estate loan portfolios. This position is responsible for assisting with the completion of the post-closing loan process including but not limited to; the review and imaging of loan documents, loan maintenance, and ensuring servicing activities are completed accurately and timely while maintaining compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures. The role works closely with lenders, credit administration, loan operations personnel, and customers to support the loan lifecycle from post-closing/servicing through payoff.

Essential Functions:

• Review, track, and document the receipt of required loan documentation.
• Ensure collateral, insurance, and loan-related documents are properly recorded and filed.
• Assist with UCC filings, lien releases, and collateral documentation tracking.
• Support loan document imaging and record retention processes.
• Loan operation duties as needed including but not limited to the process of loan advances, payments, payoffs.
• Maintain customer and loan account information within the bank's systems.
• Participate in quality control reviews to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Respond to routine inquiries from customers, lenders, and internal departments.
• Assist relationship managers and credit teams with servicing requests.

Physical Demands

successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• The employee will frequently sit or stand for extended periods of time and must be able to remain ina stationary position.
• The employee will occasionally be required to move bank/office equipment weighing up to 30 pounds across premises.

Position Type

This is a full-time position.

Travel

This position requires the ability to commute to the different branches during Bank operations and on weekends when necessary.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of banking, loan operations, lending support, customer service, or related financial services experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Internship or entry-level banking experience.
