Commercial Banking Account Representative

Pay Range: $77,457.00 - $103,292.00

As the initial “field” job position within the Commercial Banking Development Program, this position will provide continuing development of credit analysis skills and overall commercial banking skills including loan presentations, work out experience, business development, portfolio management and relationship management under the tutelage of a Regional Commercial Banking Manager (mentor) and Relationship Manager(s) as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• 4 year degree or related experience 2 years credit or lending experience preferred

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel)
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Proven analytical and problem solving abilities

Tasks Performed:

• 50% Evaluates loan requests and makes independent recommendations to higher approval authority after analyzing borrower capacity, financial data, industry trends, collateral position, management ability and using personal judgment to determine credit worthiness.
• 20% Develops non-loan new business through monitored business development efforts such as deposits, Trust, Financial Services and Settlement Services.
• 20% Maintains and services a loan portfolio to be assigned by mentor or relationship manager.
• 5% Maintains awareness and adherence to Bank policy as well as Federal/State regulations affecting Commercial Banking.
• 5% Performs other duties as assigned including attendance at Community events and special projects.
