What Will You Be Doing?
This position has the overall responsibility of installing, testing, and completing small to large-scale audiovisual systems while demonstrating the utmost professionalism and client satisfaction. Some of the primary job duties of this position include:
- Completing rack build-up, pulling cable, and preparing equipment for installation.
- Preparing systems for in-house job staging; making all necessary connections, loading configuration files, etc.
- Conducting installation of completed racks, projectors, monitors and related sub mounts.
- Leading testing of system components to assure system completeness and convention.
- Ensuring each system’s physical completeness is in accordance with installation drawings.
- Performing on-site rack fabrication when required.
- Maintaining an on-going dialog with AV Foreman and Project Manager; ensuring work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations.
- Maintaining assigned equipment inventory and assigned tools.
- Travelling to client sites and other NBS offices as required.
Do You Have The Experience, Knowledge and Skills We’re Looking For?
- 2 years of installation or technical service experience preferred.
- Formal education in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret audiovisual system drawings, schematics, construction plans, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to document system and construction drawing changes and work with design engineers for completion on as-builts drawings.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.
- Assertive, resourceful, and self-motivated; willing to ask questions, take initiative and communicate clearly.
- Consistently demonstrate a professional demeanor, appearance, and attitude.
Pre‐employment testing, including a drug screen and background check, will be required prior to hire.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
