What You’ll Do
- Support credit underwriting functions, including financial spreading, covenant testing, and borrower analysis
- Partner with Treasury Management and lending teams to prepare ACH requests and renewals
- Prepare and process deposit hold requests and related documentation
- Maintain and update credit reports and tracking tools on a regular basis
- Convert borrower financial statements into standardized formats using financial spreading software
- Perform quality control reviews of documentation and imaged files
- Process background check requests for borrowers as needed
- Assist with loan committee materials and reporting
- Analyze borrower financial condition and cash flow, including ratio and trend analysis, as directed
- Ensure adherence to loan policies and identify/report exceptions where appropriate
- Maintain knowledge of underwriting standards and regulatory guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; coursework in financial accounting preferred
- Banking or financial services experience preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to draw sound conclusions
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to collaborate effectively with lending teams and cross-functional partners
