Job Summary
Lake Highland's Lower School seeks a Primary Grades teacher to instruct students according to the prescribed LHP curriculum for the PreK - 2nd grade-level class(es) assigned to the teacher. The teacher will perform related teaching tasks and functions such as planning, research, parent communication, curriculum alignment, assessment, and record-keeping in an efficient and effective manner. As needed, the teacher will also willingly participate in the school community and student co-curricular activities.
This is a full-time, fully benefitted, 10-month position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.
Education/Experience
LHP conducts background checks, including fingerprinting and drug testing, and may use a third-party administrator. Background checks will be performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Lake Highland Preparatory School is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- Must have a college major or be certified, or working toward certification, in the area of study for which they are responsible for the major portion of the day.
