As a key member of our Finance team, you'll partner with Project Managers across all NBBJ offices to drive project success through the following responsibilities:

The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $68,000 and $80,000 for Seattle. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.

In Your New Role You Will
As a key member of our Finance team, you'll partner with Project Managers across all NBBJ offices to drive project success through the following responsibilities:
- Be a true partner – work closely with project managers, clients and sub-consultants to prepare monthly invoices based on contract requirements
- Own your contracts – Review and interpret contract terms to accurately establish budgets and billing terms within our financial system
- Keep things accurate – validate and process high volume of consultant invoices and ensure project costs are recorded correctly
- Stay organized – maintain finance project files
- Be a team player – review and audit teammates' work and jump in where needed
- Drive continuous improvement – collaborate with your team to identify and implement process improvements
- Wear multiple hats – assist with timesheet collection and participate in special projects as they come up
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a fast-paced collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- A minimum of 3 years of project cost accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions
- Solid grasp of project financial performance, including revenue and profitability
- Strong MS Excel skills with proficiency in Word, Outlook and Adobe; experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond to clients and team members in a professional and timely manner
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and follow through
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative environment
