Duties
- Assist with electrical wiring, conduit bending, and electrical systems installation on construction sites and commercial projects
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot and verify electrical circuits
- Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations to ensure compliance and safety
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems while adhering to strict safety protocols
- Aid in the maintenance of electrical systems by inspecting wiring, conduits, and equipment for faults or hazards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining a safe work environment
Experience
- Prior experience working with industrial or commercial electrical systems is highly preferred
- Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with construction processes and safety practices
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading skills
- Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, conduit bending, and installation of electrical components
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to electrical work, including NFPA 70 compliance and NEC standards
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices effectively
- Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems; previous experience in these areas is advantageous
