Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Manage route driving with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while optimizing delivery times.
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on routes.
Experience
- Must have at least 1 year of verifiable OTR experience.
- Yes, we are SAP-friendly. Must be in ending stages.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving.
- Experience operating automatic transmission vehicles.
- Prior delivery driver experience handling freight in various settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of refrigerated trailers is a plus.
- Experience navigating both urban and rural routes.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Pay
- Paid a percentage of the load, plus avalable accessorial pay.
