What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver - CNA position at Nazareth Living Care Center?
We are a Skilled Nursing Facility seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join the Paradigm Healthcare team as a Driver!
Job Duties
- Maintain a written schedule of patient appointments
- Safely load and unload patients from vehicle, accompany to physician office, and stay with patient if needed
- Arrange appointment times to allow flexibility to remain with patient if necessary
- Deliver and pick up medical documents from physician offices
- Provide transport services as directed
- Ensure that vehicle is in safe and working condition, suitable for resident to load, unload and be transported in the vehicle
- Provide direct nursing care, under direct supervision/direction of a nurse, in accordance with federal and state regulations, facility policies and procedures, and prudent nursing judgment.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Texas
- Two years' experience in Long-Term Care experience is preferred
- Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office) required
