Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant teacher to join our Christ-centered early childcare center. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a love for Jesus. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Infant Teacher will work closely with parents and staff to ensure each child's individual needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Feedings, changing diapers, and nurturing babies 6 weeks to 1 year.
- Foster a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Lifting babies daily.
- Singing Jesus loves me and other songs to the babies.
- Engaging in activities that including getting up and down from the floor.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting is essential.
Must be able to obtain a background check, TB skin test, and CPR certification
Must be 18 years and older
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
