Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, Jesus loving and energetic Afternoon Teacher to join our vibrant Christian early childhood education team. Duties
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and social skills among children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including afternoon circle time, play-based learning, arts and crafts, physical education, and literacy exercises.
- Support children’s emotional well-being through positive behavior management strategies and individualized attention.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development.
- Communicate effectively with families about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma
- CPR certified
- DHR Background Check
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as childcare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management skills.
- Prior experience with toddler care or preschool environments is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom needs while maintaining a positive attitude.
