Job Summary
Nayar Health Care is seeking a dedicated PRN Speech Language Pathologist to provide exceptional speech therapy services on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide speech therapy interventions across various settings, including schools and clinics
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records
- Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication skills and swallowing safety
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology, including early intervention techniques
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working in school settings or with geriatric populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience with patient assessment and developing effective treatment plans
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for young children
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
