What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUPERVISORY IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) position at NAWCTSD ORLANDO?
You will serve as a Branch Head within the Cyber Department, located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Ensuring the reliability and performance of all network services, troubleshooting major incidents, and directing efforts to restore services during outages.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Resolving issues and explaining solutions to customers in person, via email, and over-the-phone.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Speaking with customers in person or over-the-phone.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Finding solutions to cybersecurity issues.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, you must have one year of Specialized experience demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing Cyber requirements across a diverse portfolio of information systems 2) Analyzing and resolving complex, multi-faceted information technology problems by developing and deploying effective, sustainable technical solutions.; 3) Leading the lifecycle of complex information technology projects, from defining requirements and scope to managing resources and guiding successful completion on schedule and within budget; 4) Delivering programmatic and technical leadership over highly technical teams. 5) Driving contractor performance and accountability on a major IT Support Services contract by providing rigorous technical oversight to ensure all requirements, deliverables, and milestones are met in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).
