Mobile Cleaner / Floating Custodian / Janitor

Custodian, Janitor - START ASAP!

We are looking to add a mobile janitor, also known as a float, to our team. As a float, you would be responsible for providing coverage where necessary at various locations in the greater Grand Rapids area. Do you like variety in your work? This position could be for you!

Part-time position available:

• Wednesday-Sunday: no earlier than 4pm with an out time no later than 2:30am, working a 4-8 hour shift once in for the day (25-35 hours per week)
• Sunday-Thursday: no earlier than 4pm with an out time no later than 2:30am, working a 4-8 hour shift once in for the day (25-35 hours per week)

Pay: $18.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
• As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Great attendance!
• Ability to clean in a variety of environments including medical settings, schools, manufacturing settings, offices, etc.
• Reliable vehicle to drive during shift
• Ability to pass a federal background check with no past or pending criminal charges, drug test (including for THC), ability to submit fingerprints to the state of Michigan to be authorized to work in public schools, and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check
• 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license
• Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
• Cleaning experience required
