- Provides a wide variety of clerical, administrative, payroll and other technical duties for the EFS Operation.
- Maintains records, files and various other materials that support developing data for various reports.
- Prepares various daily, monthly and annual reports.
- Assists in preparing purchase requests for office supplies, equipment, resale items and other products.
- Provides research in reconciliation of vendor invoices, receiving documents, payroll and various other documents.
- Assists in warehouse inventory counts and end of the month business closing documents as needed.
- Performs surprise cash counts on operational cashiers when required.
- Provides assistance to customers.
- Travels to various facilities and regional offices to assist with administrative functions.
- Prepares and maintains various correspondence files, payroll and vendor data.
- Verifies accuracy of invoices, payroll, cash, inventory systems and point of sale system.
- Enters employee work schedules into the time keeping system.
- Verifies and ensures payroll timekeeping is correct and processed on time.
- Fills in for Central Cashier and operations clerks when necessary.
- Prepares and inputs various data into a variety of computer software programs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Incumbent must pass all applicable records and background checks.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Irregular working hours required to include early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Occasional travel required.
- Knowledge of the duties, priorities, commitments, policies, and program goals of the staff sufficient to perform assignments such as supply ordering, scheduling, record and file maintenance requirements for publications, directives and other materials which may affect the division.
- Knowledge of and ability to use correct grammar and spelling.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply payroll processing, Employee Food Services policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), instructions and policies.
- Knowledge of inventory procedures to identify any irregularities.
- Skilled in the use of Windows Office applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Ability to operate various office equipment.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
- Ability to analyze and prepare clear, concise, and technically sound reports related to work within the Branch.
- Ability to type a variety of documents and demonstrate excellent clerical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
