Summary
This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Programs (N922) Branch; Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N94); Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Honolulu, HI. The purpose of this position is to provide customer service to patrons as well as to perform a variety of duties in support of the MWR community recreation program; located at Hickam Arts & Crafts Center.

Performs a full range of services such as:
- Assisting customers, taking special orders, providing layaway services, following up on delinquent payments, making refunds or adjustments, resolving routine complaints, and any other customer service-related duties or transactions.
- May operate cash register, receive payment, and make change.
- Assist in the maintenance of pertinent records and logs relating to customer service transactions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Must be able to learn MWR policies, rules and regulations involving the work area, and have the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Must have knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Six months experience in a related recreational activity is desired.
- Applicants with knowledge of arts and crafts related merchandise and have a valid driver's license are preferred.
- Must be available to work Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 9:15 a.m.-6:15 p.m. ***
