Job Description
Serve as a senior enterprise organizational change management and strategic communications expert, providing leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction to executive sponsors, senior leaders, project and program teams, and key enterprise stakeholders. This role supports highly complex, large‑scale, and often multi‑year transformations, operating in environments characterized by ambiguity, evolving priorities, and diverse business unit cultures.
The role is accountable for shaping and executing enterprise change and communications strategies that drive alignment, readiness, and sustained adoption across strategic initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the incumbent facilitates critical discussions, influences decision‑making, and navigates complex organizational dynamics to enable successful implementation of high‑impact initiatives.
This position also leads expert‑level change management efforts requiring advanced analysis, sound judgment, and strategic insight, with significant impact on organizational outcomes, enterprise readiness, and long‑term transformation success.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate organizational change management strategies/solutions and consult with business unit senior management and executives
Develop, implement and maintain organizational change management model and methodology
Serve as facilitator and active, visible organizational change management coach to project and initiative sponsors, business Senior Executives, management and stakeholder
Systematically apply structured process to equip people to lead, participate in and adopt change to meet desired business outcomes
Develop and lead actionable and targeted organizational change management plans - including communications, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training and resistance management plans
Manage and direct organizational change management components of projects through the planning, analysis, design, implementation and transition phases
Lead business needs/impact assessment and alignment with organizational objectives
Evaluate and measures effectiveness of internal communications and training plans
Creates and manages measurement systems using targets and key performance indicators to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual and organization-wide changes
Identify resistance and performance gaps to develop, recommend and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with Senior Executives and management to implement OCM and communications objectives
Facilitate meetings/groups of cross functional team members in the implementation of strategic activities and initiatives
Compile, research and analyze trends in support of change management projects and initiatives; provide results and recommendations based on analysis
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Significant experience in implementing major components of large scale organizational change management efforts including organizational impact assessments, stakeholder identification and alignment, communications planning and execution, and training needs assessment
Extensive experience in managing projects from creation through execution and evaluation
Effective in exercising initiative, producing desired results and achieving objectives
Extensive Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
Broad and enterprise-wide view of the business and its relationships to Information Technology
Significant experience in leading, guiding and mentoring others
Advanced in presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and management
Effective in the use of PCs and related software packages
Advanced research, analytical and problem solving skills
Expert skill in translating information and developing insights
Expert verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated experience designing, applying, and interpreting change readiness metrics, including qualitative and quantitative indicators, to assess organizational readiness, inform change strategy, and guide executive decision‑making across complex initiatives.
Demonstrated experience leading and enabling cross‑horizontal collaboration across multiple business units, functions, and disciplines to align stakeholders, resolve dependencies, and drive coordinated change outcomes at the enterprise level.
Demonstrated thought leadership through professional associations, authored whitepapers, conference speaking engagements, or leading seminars related to organizational change, transformation, or organizational effectiveness.
Advanced research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with expert ability to synthesize information and translate insights into actionable change management recommendations.
Expert verbal and written communication skills, including executive‑level storytelling and facilitation.
Significant experience leading, guiding, mentoring, and developing others, including change practitioners, leaders, and cross‑functional partners.
Advanced capability in presenting complex findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and concisely to executive and senior management audiences.
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative, consistently producing desired results and achieving strategic objectives in ambiguous environments.
Significant experience leading large‑scale organizational change management efforts, including organizational impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder identification and alignment, communications strategy and execution, and training needs assessment.
Extensive experience managing complex initiatives from creation through execution and evaluation, with accountability for outcomes, adoption, and sustained results in support of change management delivery.
Knowledge of NFCU's functions, philosophy, operations and organizational objectives
Previous experience with technology organizations
Demonstrated experience doing business cases and cost analysis
Demonstrated thought leadership experience through applicable associations, authored whitepapers, or leading seminars
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
