What are the responsibilities and job description for the ENGINEER position at NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV?
You will serve as an ENGINEER in the Systems Engineering Department (E), Weapons Research & Evaluation Division (E6), Electrostatic Discharge Assessment Branch (E65) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-9 through GS-11; the ND-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
TO QUALIFY FOR ND-3: In addition to basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer, applying engineering/scientific theories, concepts, and practices to assist with test and evaluation of explosive ordnance to prepare technical reports in support of ordnance programs.
