Navra Education is hiring a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support an elementary student near Statesville, NC for the 2026–2027 school year.
This is an in-person, 1:1 support position working directly with a student in an elementary school setting. New graduates are welcome to apply!
Position Details
- Provide sign language interpretation and communication support for a student
- Support the student throughout the school day and across classroom activities
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers as needed
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–2:30 PM
Requirements
- EIPA score of 3.3 or higher
- Associate degree in Educational Interpreting or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in an elementary school environment
- NC teaching license is NOT required
