You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the NAVIGATION AND MECHANICAL SYTEMS (N711) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

Qualifications:
In addition to meeting the Basic Education Requirement:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience and/or professional level mechanical engineering knowledge and experience in applying mechanical engineering principles, practices, and skills to the analysis, design, fabrication, modification/reconfiguration, testing, and installation of complex mechanical systems/components supporting oceanographic mission survey systems on Navy vessels.
- Experience with project execution and team leadership capability associated with mechanical engineering efforts to support multi-mission systems.
- Experience identifying technical requirements and effectively planning and scheduling resources to meet project objectives.
- Experience with engineering experimentation, testing, design, installation and evaluation techniques.
