What are the responsibilities and job description for the SECURITY SPECIALIST position at NAVMED OPER TRNG CENTER?
You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY (BUMED) of NAVMED OPER TRNG CENTER.

Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Experience planning, formulating, and coordinating all matters in regards to security of personnel, property, and material against terrorist threats.
- Experience conducting Antiterrorism awareness training and other relevant security education programs to prepare personnel.
- Experience overseeing actions to remediate or mitigate vulnerabilities identified during security assessments.
- Experience managing travel requests for all personnel for the Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) travel.
- Experience reviewing documents prior to public release and maintains a copy of all official information.
- Experience inspecting and certifying facilities and storage containers are maintained per regulations.
