Transportation Coordinator / Customer Service Associate
Location: Springdale, AR
Duration: 3 Months (Contract)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (minimum 3 weeks)
Work Setting: 100% Onsite
Pay Rate:$21/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator / Customer Service Associate (CSA) to support supply chain and logistics operations for a large organization in Springdale, Arkansas. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal supply chain teams, external customers, carriers, and sales partners to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
This position will act as a floating/fill-in role, covering various shifts including early mornings, nights, and occasional weekends as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between internal supply chain teams and external customers
- Analyze high volumes of incoming emails and provide timely issue resolution
- Manage customer relationships by understanding organizational processes, product needs, and procedures
- Partner closely with sales teams to deliver high-level customer service
- Utilize multiple dispatch systems (e.g., TES, LME, FourKites, OTR) and external scheduling systems (Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network, etc.)
- Maintain knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and software systems
- Maintain understanding of customer organizational structures and operational requirements
- Identify cost-effective and creative solutions to resolve delivery and logistics challenges
- Proactively address issues that may negatively impact delivery performance or customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Equivalent work experience in transportation or logistics accepted
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant business, logistics, or transportation experience
Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage high email volume (300 per day)
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
