Occupational Therapist (OT) – Contract Assignment
Location: Skowhegan, ME
Shift: Day Shift (Shift 1)
Hours: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality rehabilitative services in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation environment. This position involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at improving functional independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and create individualized care plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to enhance ADLs, mobility, and functional performance.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members (PT, SLP, nursing).
- Modify treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
- Participate in care planning meetings as needed.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
- Ensure safe and effective therapy delivery in a supportive care environment.
Requirements
- Active state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Prior experience in SNF/LTC or rehabilitation settings preferred.
- Ability to commit to the full contract duration.
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills.
