Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced GIS Technician with a strong background in the development and management of GIS data, software, and applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing ESRI, Safe Software, VertiGIS, and other GIS platforms to support data creation, maintenance, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and manage GIS data, including attributes, geometric features, and metadata.
Perform LRS route and event editing to ensure accurate and timely data updates.
Create and develop maps to support spatial analysis and reporting needs.
Collaborate with GIS Program Managers, GIS Specialists, Configuration Engineers, Data Architects, and Analysts to assist in the development and implementation of GIS projects.
Provide support in troubleshooting, enhancing, and optimizing GIS workflows and applications.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in GIS software platforms such as ESRI, Safe Software, and VertiGIS.
Experience in data editing and map creation.
Knowledge of LRS route and event editing processes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of experience in a GIS-related role.
Familiarity with various GIS tools and applications for data management and map creation.
