Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
- Pediatric emergency exposure required
- Prior travel nursing background must be documented
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Active and verifiable state RN license(s)
- EPIC EMR proficiency required
Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent and emergent nursing care for both adult and pediatric patients
- Conduct rapid assessments, triage, and respond to critical events
- Administer medications, interventions, and trauma-based treatment
- Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain precise documentation in EPIC
- Offer reassurance and clear communication to families in high-stress situations
- Adapt seamlessly to fluctuating patient volumes in a fast-paced ED
