Job Title: Associate Transplant Coordinator
Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 15-week assignment
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (includes 30-minute break)
Local Pay: $1,125/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Associate Transplant Coordinator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating pre- and post-transplant care for kidney transplant patients.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate patient records and verify medical information.

• Facilitate insurance authorizations and manage communications with third-party payers and government programs.

• Educate patients and families on the transplant process as directed.

• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage related patient care logistics.

• Uphold privacy, compliance, and quality standards in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:
Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel)

• Understanding of medical terminology and ICD-9/10 procedure codes

• Knowledge of third-party insurance and government programs for treatment authorizations

• Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Bilingual in Spanish
