Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
Location: Seaside, OR
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s
Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Reprocess endoscopes in accordance with facility policies and industry standards.
Operate sterilization equipment and maintain accurate sterilization documentation.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly.
Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and support surgical services operations.
Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and equipment.
Requirements
Current Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST, CSPDT, or equivalent) required.
Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience required.
Experience with endoscope reprocessing, general decontamination, and sterile processing required.
Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
