Job Title: RN – Outpatient Clinic / Addiction Recovery Services
Location: Trumansburg, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
- Variable / Rotating Shifts
- Days / Nights | 5x8s
- 40 Hours Weekly
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accountability for quality patient care
- Complete physical and mental health assessments including vital signs, risk assessments, and withdrawal assessments (COWS)
- Administer and monitor prescribed medications and treatment plans
- Observe, document, and report behavioral changes
- Maintain medication control and documentation
- Triage emergent medical concerns and coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives
Requirements:
- Active RN License required
- BLS Certification required
- CPI Training completion within 3 months of hire required
- Medication Competency Examination completion required
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required
- BSN preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, detox, or psychiatric nursing preferred
- Knowledge of withdrawal assessments such as COWS preferred
- Familiarity with OASAS and Medicaid compliance standards preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and nights
