Job Title: RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Role Summary
A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) setting. The ideal candidate will support interventional cardiac procedures, provide critical patient care, and ensure adherence to clinical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications, including conscious sedation, as required.
- Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
- Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
- Experience with conscious sedation.
Education
- Required: Associate’s Degree (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred: Not specified
Certifications & Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – State of New York.
- License verification through NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (AHA).
