Title: Registered Nurse – Endoscopy (GI/Endo RN)
Location: Potsdam, New York
Duration: Contract Assignment
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift Timing: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse to support both inpatient and outpatient endoscopy services. The ideal candidate will have strong procedural experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to assist with a wide range of endoscopic and bronchoscopy procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care in inpatient and outpatient endoscopy settings
Assist physicians during GI and pulmonary procedures
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
Assist with biopsies and specimen collection
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Ensure proper infection control and sterilization practices
Process and disinfect endoscopic equipment
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Restock procedure rooms and supply carts
Follow Universal Protocol and Time-Out procedures
Required Qualifications:
Active RN License required
BLS Certification required
Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy or GI nursing experience
Strong knowledge of endoscopy equipment and procedures
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Inpatient Endoscopy
Outpatient Endoscopy Center
Portable/Bedside Procedures
Colonoscopy
EGD Procedures
Bronchoscopy
Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
Esophageal Foreign Body Removal
Balloon Dilations (CRE Balloon)
