Radiation Therapist
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5x8 Hour Shifts
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a contract assignment within a radiation oncology setting. The Radiation Therapist will provide radiation treatment procedures, ensure patient safety, operate radiation therapy equipment, and collaborate with oncology teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Active Radiation Therapist licensure/certification required
- Experience in Radiation Therapy required
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills required
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Position patients accurately for treatment procedures
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during treatments
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation and records
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and healthcare teams
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Float to qualified units/campuses as needed per facility policy
