Job Title: Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Location: Portland, OR
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | Night Shift (5x8-Hour Shifts)
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide compassionate care and support to geriatric residents in a long-term care and assisted living environment. The PCT will assist residents with daily living activities, support care planning, and collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide compassionate support to elderly residents with minimal supervision
Coordinate daily tasks with other Patient Care Technicians and healthcare staff
Participate in resident orientation and onboarding processes
Assist in implementing individualized care and service plans
Observe and report changes in resident conditions to appropriate staff
Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding resident care
Promote resident safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
Support interdisciplinary team efforts to provide quality care
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience working with seniors
Current BCLS Certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation required
Ability to work every weekend
Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or senior care settings preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
QuickMAR experience
Experience with electronic charting systems
