Job Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Oncology Nurse Navigator (RN) to support patients in an outpatient cancer care setting. This role focuses on guiding patients through their treatment journey, ensuring coordinated, patient-centered care. It is an administrative-focused nursing role ideal for experienced oncology nurses with strong care coordination and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for oncology patients throughout treatment
- Coordinate and manage individualized patient care plans
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Track patient progress and ensure continuity of care
- Document all interactions and care coordination in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and care navigation
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of Oncology RN experience (3 preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be active at submission)
- ONCC/ONS certification required
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work in a patient-focused, collaborative environment
- First-time travelers accepted
