Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Bronxville, NY 10708
Shift: Day Shift – 5 days/week (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM, 7-hour shifts)
Duration: 15 Weeks Contract
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers with patient care, ensure smooth clinical workflows, and maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
Prepare patients for exams and treatments
Perform basic clinical duties such as taking vital signs and documenting patient information
Maintain sterile techniques and assist with minor procedures
Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, patient intake, and medical record management
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) (required)
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (preferred)
Knowledge of clinical procedures and sterile techniques (preferred)
