Title: Medical Assistant – Primary Care / Clinical Support
Location: Vero Beach, FL
Duration: Contract Assignment
Shift: Monday to Friday | 08:15 AM – 05:00 PM
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front and back office clinical operations in a busy outpatient healthcare setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical support, and administrative responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greet, room, and prepare patients for clinical visits
Take vital signs and record patient information in EMR
Assist providers with exams and clinical procedures
Perform phlebotomy / venipuncture and specimen collection
Administer vaccines and basic clinical treatments as directed
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
Maintain accurate electronic medical records
Support occupational health and health education initiatives
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient safety standards
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
BLS Certification required
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
COVID vaccination card required
Phlebotomy / venipuncture experience required
EMR experience required
Strong communication and computer skills required
Occupational health experience preferred
