Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care

Location: Chambersburg, PA
Duration: 13 Weeks (High Potential for Extension)
Schedule: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Break: 30-Minute Unpaid Break

Compensation

• Local Pay: $1,368 Weekly
• Traveler Pay: $1,590.12 Weekly

Compensation is based on eligibility and assignment requirements.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, support interdisciplinary care plans, and ensure patient safety while maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents in accordance with established care plans.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Promote resident comfort, dignity, and well-being.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs and emergencies.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Pennsylvania LPN License or Multistate Compact LPN License required.
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Experience

• Minimum one (1) year of Licensed Practical Nurse experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting required.
