Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week | Rotating Call Required
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Glenwood Springs, CO.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for CVOR procedures
- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and hybrid Cath Lab procedures
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
- Ensure compliance with aseptic technique and sterile processing standards
- Participate in rotating call schedules and emergency surgical coverage
- Maintain accurate surgical counts and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR nursing teams
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and operating room preparation
- Support efficient turnover between surgical procedures
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
- Minimum 3 years of recent CVOR CST experience required
- Active Colorado Surgical Technologist License (DORA) required
- CST Certification through NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT required
- Current AHA BLS Certification required
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Hybrid Cath Lab experience preferred
