Location: Bronx, NY
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Lab Technologist to join a fast-paced healthcare laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing to support accurate patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical expertise, precision, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures according to established protocols and quality standards
- Analyze and interpret laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate patient records, laboratory reports, and related documentation
- Verify specimen integrity and ensure proper handling, labeling, and processing
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals regarding laboratory findings
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage of laboratory supplies and reagents
- Adhere to all applicable laboratory regulations, confidentiality policies, and professional standards
Required Qualifications
Education
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Laboratory Technology program required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience required
Certifications & Licensure
- Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required
- Primary source verification required
- BLS certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science or related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
