Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
Location: Port St. Lucie, FL
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The role involves working 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM). The ideal candidate should have experience in Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures.
The successful candidate must have experience in at least two of the four modalities listed above. This experience must be clearly reflected in the candidate’s work history.
Qualifications:
- 18 months of experience in the Cath Lab specialty, 2 years preferred
- Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) preferred
- RCIS certification preferred
- AHA ACLS & BLS certification required
- Must be able to scrub and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Smokefree Facility: All travelers must be nicotine-free (Negative 10 Panel Nicotine test required)
- Must be able to float between facilities (within 20 miles)
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub Technologist with a focus on Cardiac Cath procedures
- Experience assisting with Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures
- Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist with sterile procedures and maintain sterile fields
- Monitor patient vitals during procedures and assist with interventions as necessary
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, cardiologists, and surgical teams
- Ensure patient safety and care throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols
