We’re seeking an experienced Patient Care Associate (PCA) to join a dynamic clinical care team at a leading New York hospital. This role requires 2 years of hospital experience and BLS certification, with the ability to float across all units including Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Critical Care.
As a PCA, you’ll support RNs in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Responsibilities include: performing vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, supporting dietary needs, and providing one-to-one patient observation when required. You’ll also assist with patient transport, room turnover, and clinical documentation.
This position offers hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced environment with exposure to diverse patient populations and specialties.
Location: 1000 10th Ave, New York, NY 10019
Shift: Nights (11 PM–7:15 AM), Every Other Weekend Required
Certification: BLS (AHA) Required
Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital experience
