Deposit Operations Floater

United Community Bank is seeking a Deposit Operations Floater to join our collaborative and

dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support multiple departments within

Deposit Operations, ensuring continuity of daily processes and providing coverage during peak

periods or staff absences

• Perform daily tasks across various departments including ACH & Cash Ops, Balance Control, ATM & Card Operations, Deposit Account Maintenance, Documentation, Research Returns, Wire Transfers, and more.
• Provide coverage and support during high-volume periods or when team members are unavailable.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and branch representatives.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Assist with training and special projects as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• 3-6 years of experience in banking operations or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate computer systems with ease.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and operational procedures.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively across departments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally for training or conversions.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background & credit check
